As the Footwear Design Director you will oversee a team of product designers and graphic designers. This includes all footwear categories – men’s women’s and kids lifestyle footwear. You will be responsible for setting creative direction, ensuring design meets the footwear briefs, working strategically and creatively, managing a team of about 10 plus international design offices, mentoring others, hiring, evaluating talent, acting as a leader and putting pencil to paper when necessary. You will work with the other Directors, VP and SVP in setting strategic direction for this globally recognized brand while it is entering into a second growth phase. You will manage a team as well as hire others. In this role you will work cross-funcitonally with Design, Product Development and Marketing.
